Tooling

A&M Engineering Plastics, Inc. does not build injection mold tooling in-house, we broker the tool building to one of many local shops or offshore. We do accept full responsibility for design, construction, and conditioning to produce parts to meet customer requirements and specifications.

We do have in-house repair and maintenance capabilities as follows:

	Maintain spare tooling components and replacement of same:
	Changeover capability where applicable:
	Cleaning, preservation, and storage.

New Tool Warranty:

All tools A&M designs and builds to produce product carries a

"Lifetime Warranty". We will maintain the tooling at original cavity level, quality of product, and spare component details for as long as the tool runs production at our Largo, FL. plant. In short; should A&M design, build, and condition your tool, your tooling maintenance budget will be zero dollars from that point forward.

Tooling Flexibility:

	We can take your product drawing and complete the program from there.
	We can assist you in product design and check for moldability and make recommendations to improve moldability.
	We accept existing tooling as well of course. Tool warranty can be grand-fathered in after a review of current condition.
	We have offshore tooling capabilities as well as local sources.
	We have soft quick turn tooling sources when prototyping is required.
	SolidWorks is our 3-D platform.
	AutoCad is our 2-D platform.

Summary:

We have the resources to accommodate those that just need a quick single cavity, quick turn tool to produce just a few hundred pieces per year or those that require class A1 full production tooling to produce millions of pieces per year.
